Western Postal History Selection
The collection of Western Postal History has expanded significantly over the past decades. The listing of covers presented represents a concerted on-going effort to acquire early, quality specimens from the Gold Rush era and the years that followed
The California cover selection has been arranged in alphabetical order, by county, with Williams Catalog Numbers and rarity ratings for all examples. Covers from other Western and Eastern states are identified by state only, with no reference to the specialty cataloging that may be available.
